It was implemented with the team of the UNESCO Chair in Heritage Studies from 2010 to 2016 at the BTU and funded by various foundations, ministries and the EU (<a href=\"https:\/\/heritagestudies.eu\/en\/muma-training-strategies\/\">&#8220;MUMA&#8221; (Development of Multi-Disciplinary Manangment Strategies for Conservation and Use of Heritage in Asia and Europe)<\/a>, &#8220;<a href=\"https:\/\/heritagestudies.eu\/en\/sharing-our-heritages\/\">Sharing our Heritages<\/a>&#8220;, and &#8220;<a href=\"https:\/\/heritagestudies.eu\/en\/international-research-project-cultural-capital-counts-ccc-2011-2014\/\">Cultural Capital Counts (CCC)<\/a>&#8220;.<\/p>\n<p>Exemplary for the further development of the approach were a variety of international projects, such as &#8221; <a href=\"https:\/\/heritagestudies.eu\/en\/world-heritage-mining-cultural-landscape-erzgebirge-krusnohori\/\">Our World Heritage \u2013 Mining Cultural Landscape Erzgebirge\/Kru\u0161nohori\u201d <\/a>(2017-2019) and &#8220;<a href=\"https:\/\/heritagestudies.eu\/en\/transboundary-european-world-heritage-a-topic-for-the-unesco-project-schools\/\">Transboundary European World Heritage &#8211; a Topic for UNESCO Associated Schools<\/a>&#8221; beginning at 2019. Both projects have been extended to teachers and pupils. Since 2020, the results have been recorded on the platform of the project <a href=\"https:\/\/worldheritage-education.eu\/en\" rel=\"noopener\">worldheritage-education.eu<\/a>. They can be accessed for classes in World Heritage.<\/p>\n<p>In preparation for the 50th anniversary of the World Heritage Convention, Marie-Theres Albert launched the project <a href=\"https:\/\/heritagestudies.eu\/en\/50-years-world-heritage-convention-shared-responsibility-conflict-reconciliation\/\">50 Years World Convention: Shared Responsibility &#8211; Conflict and Reconciliation<\/a>&#8221; in 2021. In this project and based on Think Tanks, a book with contributions from 61 authors from 28 countries was produced. An &#8220;<a href=\"https:\/\/50yearsworldheritageconvention.wordpress.com\/celebration\/\" rel=\"noopener\">International Conference on the Future of the World Heritage Convention<\/a>&#8221; was held on 4 November 2022 with important stakeholders from the past, present and future.<\/p>\n<p>Marie-Theres Albert has scientifically underpinned her paradigm of heritage and thus the projects with her publication series <a href=\"https:\/\/heritagestudies.eu\/en\/category\/publications\/books\/world-heritage-studies-series\/\">World Heritage Studies<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/heritagestudies.eu\/en\/category\/publications\/books\/heritage-studies-series\/\">Heritage Studies<\/a>. The book &#8220;<a href=\"https:\/\/heritagestudies.eu\/en\/50-years-world-heritage-convention-shared-responsibility-conflict-reconciliation-2\/\">50 Years World Convention: Shared Responsibility &#8211; Conflict and Reconciliation<\/a>&#8221; is available in Open Access since October 2022.
