At the World Heritage Site “Palaces and Parks of Potsdam and Berlin” students learned that many trees in the historical gardens are endangered by climate change. A Polish group processed the knowledge they had gained during the workshop in TedTalks they then delivered to a local audience in a cinema in their home town.
“When deciding on making a TedEd presentation, our main goal was to share our new-found knowledge and experience with others at our school. We believe that young people will lead future systemic changes, and climate issues are among those most important. While many are already environmentally conscious, this problem will affect all of ours’ adulthood, which is why bringing more teens’ attention is so important.” Student quote.
